Our professional programme contains a mix of small to mid-scale theatre, comedy, music, film, participatory activities and high-quality entertainment to satisfy broad appeal within the local Medway Community.

To avoid duplication with other local venues and to maintain our uniqueness, we do not present tribute bands and rarely present musical theatre & large scale comedy acts in our professional programme.

We are committed to diversity and inclusion and have a strong interest in social impact, therefore we actively seek out artists and companies who are working in the context of protected characteristics and attracting new audiences as a result.

Running alongside our mixed model professional programme is a carefully managed programme of community & commercial hires. 

​

Our venue is solely funded by MidKent College and receives no subsidy from funding bodies such as Arts Council England.

 

Our seasons are divided into two. Autumn / Winter: (September – December) Spring / Summer (January – July). We are typically programming at least six months in advance.
